Ecrida Terms of Service

Welcome to Ecrida. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ecrida app and related services. By continuing, accessing, or using Ecrida, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Account
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account session and device access.
- You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
- You must provide accurate and lawful information when using the service.
- You may Exit at any time. Delete Account permanently removes locally stored local gallery data such as posts, chats, account information, and Coins; some markers or server-side records may be retained as required for security, billing, or legal compliance. The first-launch Coins bonus is not granted again after account deletion.
2. Service Description
Ecrida provides features including but not limited to:
- Gallery feed with curated exhibitions, category browsing, likes, and comments.
- Gear management and side-by-side camera comparison.
- Create / New Frame: Post Original photos for free, or Smart Frame new images using story and gear details for Coins.
- Account info settings such as nickname, avatar, and bio.
- Messages, follows, reports, and blocks.
- Optional in-app purchases for digital Coins (Frames) used by Smart Frame.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service based on product, technical, legal, or security needs.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate laws, regulations, or rights of others.
- Upload, generate, or share illegal, infringing, abusive, harmful, hateful, deceptive, or sexually inappropriate content (including avatars, nicknames, photos, stories, comments, or messages).
- Post stolen photographs or misrepresent ownership / authorship of content.
- Interfere with system security, integrity, or normal operation.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, exploit, or misuse the service without authorization.
- Use automated tools to abuse registration, traffic, generation requests, or transactions.
- Harass other users or attempt to evade report / block controls.
4. User Content and Community Safety
- You retain rights to content you create or upload, subject to applicable law.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve services.
- You represent that your content does not infringe third-party rights and is lawful.
- We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or legal requirements.
- You may report posts, comments, or users for reasons such as Copyright Infringement, Stolen Shot, Inappropriate Content, Spam, or Other, and you may block users so their content and conversations are hidden from you.
5. In-App Purchases and Virtual Currency
- Some features require digital Coins (shown as Frames in the wallet). Smart Frame costs 45 Coins per successful generation in the current current build.
- First launch may grant a one-time newbie bonus (135 Coins).
- Billing and payment processing are handled by the Apple App Store.
- Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are subject to Apple policies and applicable law.
- Virtual Coins are consumable, non-transferable (unless required by law), and have no cash value outside the app.
- Purchases are generally final and non-refundable except as required by law or platform policy.
- Because Coins are consumable, Restore Purchases is not applicable.
- If Smart Frame fails, Coins are not charged for that attempt.
6. Smart Framing
- Smart Frame may use third-party processing services to create images from prompts built from your story and gear details.
- Inputs you provide for generation are processed to fulfill your request.
- You retain control over content you upload and choose to publish.
- Generated results are creative assistance only, may be imperfect, and do not guarantee originality or commercial clearance.
- You are responsible for checking generated images before publishing and for ensuring your use complies with law and these Terms.
- Post Original publishes your selected photo as-is and does not require image processing services.
7. Intellectual Property
- The app, trademarks, logos, software, design, and service materials are owned by Ecrida or licensors.
- Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the app or its materials.
- Sample gallery / demo content is provided for demonstration within the app experience and does not grant you ownership of those assets.

- The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation.
- We do not guarantee any specific creative outcome, engagement result, or Smart Frame quality from using the app.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ecrida and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or virtual currency balances arising from your use of the service.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, applicable law, or pose security / risk concerns. You may stop using the service at any time by logging out, deleting your account, or uninstalling the app.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as needed. Material updates may be communicated via app notice, website notice, or other reasonable channels. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where services are provided, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your region.
